Below are some excerpts from a recent interview where Jayne Moore offers her words of wisdom to young girls aspiring to break into the world of high fashion modeling:

Jayne Moore

“ Modeling is not an easy profession especially in the beginning. While some models soar to the top over night, it takes others years to even find their market and make any money. What’s important is to stay grounded through the thick and thin”.

Jayne Moore

“ You will meet a lot of criticism along the way, and people will question your ability and physique. Have faith in yourself and let things in one ear and out the other”.

Jayne Moore

“ You will have to put in a lot of time shooting tests with up and coming photographers and stylists, and also doing editorials for no money. You need patience and will-power to sustain yourself through it all”.

Jayne Moore

“ You will face rejection on a daily basis and have great opportunities. There will be big sums of money on the table. Don’t get disheartened by the rejection, and don’t let the large amounts of cash get to your head”.

Jayne Moore

“ It’s not all glamour, glitter and parties. There are a lot of tough times. You have to brave strong egos, extreme temperatures, and long working hours”.

Jayne Moore

“ Keep your family and real friends close to you. These are the people that knew and loved you before this became your world. Those are the people that will really cheer you on when things are going well, and support you when they are not”.

Jayne Moore

“ Keep both of your feet planted on the ground. Don’t start changing who you are to fit a mold of what you think people want you to be”.

Jayne Moore

“Have fun, don’t take yourself too seriously, and enjoy the journey”.
